The first time I came out with this idea was during Covid few years ago and again now we are undoubtedly experiencing a challenging phase in our lives due to the war around us. For most of us it is causing internal war too.
The question is what we can do in order to feel even slightly better under our skin. The answer might differ from person to person but for sure a rejunevating and relaxin massage would help most of us. Since not everyone has the fortune of having someone to provide this at the moment, why not create our own solution?:)
I understand that not everyone is into yoga; just the word "yoga" can be scary for some of us... but what if I told you that with correct movement and breathimg techniques, we can achieve a massage effect in our bodies?
Our body is composed of various elements like bones, muscles, and connective tissues, internal organs, meridians (energy pathways) all interconnected, so any stimulation in one area can trigger a chain reaction affecting other parts including the nervous system.
Often, we experience stiffness and pain in areas we can't even explain. Many times, this is due to stress, anxiety or trauma that might be stored in the body, due to lack of movement or incorrect/unaware movement.
With this concept in mind, following 20 years of practice, 15 years of constant teaching, studying and researching, experiencing personal physical, mental and emotional challenges, observing the changes, transformation and the needs of not only my own body but also thousands of practicioners from different age and profile groups, I developed an approach using traditional yoga practices combined. with other movement techniques that works from "Head to Toe" and stimulates the whole system; creates an effect like "Internal Massage" that works from 'Head to Toe".
The technique can be practiced both for the focus on the whole body or focus on one or more specific areas in the body.
This practice is accessible to everyone in need with the correct modifications and adjustments. Whether you sit long hours in front of the computer/TV or you face a lot of daily stress, anxiety, experience sleeping problems, lack of patience, disconnection from your inner true-self, lack of energy, tiredness and so on.
Even though depending on the focus we use sometimes a yoga mat and/or other props like blocks, blanket, chair, bolster to support the effect, most of the time all you need is "Your Own Body". We use our limbs, our own weight, and some movement synchronized with the breath. It is fun to practice, helps to strengthen and soften at the same time not only physically but also mentally and emotionally.
